Some of you may have seen the sharp rise in wax prices (particularly vegetable/soy) over recent weeks as well as the difficulties in sourcing it at the present time. There seems to be restrictions in the company(ies) releasing the wax, transportation and shipping delays (container space)  and getting the materials out of dock and onto the road. On top of this, a much higher demand for these materials from the open market  This has probably directly affected the price increases now being seen! Hopefully when things settle prices may be revised to a more market competitive level. Vegetable wax candle (esprcially soy) production could be affected over the shorter term if stock levels fall. Will endeavour to keep the news updated as things develop.
