The vegetable lamp oil I stock is being discontinued in its current 750ml form and will, in the future, be provided in 1 litre bottles. The curent stock I have will be the last so once sold they are gone. I am not yet able to get the new bottles and there may be a delay in re-stocking with the new size.

I will be adding a selection of festive candles over the next few weeks to the shop and in the showroom at the workshop - as we close in on Xmas!!

Hello all now we are into the new school year. Thoughts are off holidays and onto other areas for many of us and I can see many chandlers getting stock in for the Autumn period coming up. I have started to build up my Xmas candles here and I will put them into the shop probably by the beginning of October. The new website is under way and I'm looking forward to seeing the first designs.  On the less positive note, the beeswax candle prices will be going up in a couple of weeks as the impact of higher base wax prices becomes effective. Soy prices have stayed competitive and I'll be able to maintain these as they are.

Some disappointing news I'm afraid. I have had long discussions with my wax supplier who has confirmed that there is (generally) a shortage of world beeswax. It is very difficult to get hold of expecially the pure uncut beeswax!!! This has led to finding it very difficult to get hold of and, invariably, an increase in prices. I have for the last few years tried to keep  prices constant and have soaked up any increases that have come along. Unfortunately, I cannot maintain this any longer and once the current batch is used up (a few weeks supply) I am going to have to increase prices across the beeswax candles I have. For the longer term, I have secured supply to the beginning of 2016 and will be trying to look at all options moving forward after this.
